Salt Lake Sledding

Today we finally made it to the snow! Unfortunately, it hasn't snowed for a week so it was mostly slush. We started out by visiting the Salt Lake.

These last few days, the wind has been blowing. And while we were out on the salt beach, the biggest gust of wind hit. I guess one of the best ways to describe it was that we got a natural exfoliation. I was so thankful that I had decided to grab my windbreaker and sunglasses from the car. I felt like Winnie the Pooh being swept away on that blustery day!

After having a wonderful lunch at a small sandwich shop in down town Salt Lake City, we headed up the mountain to go tubing at Gorgonzola. It was basically it was like a ski resort for tubing with rope-pulls to get you up to the top! We had a great time!

Now I can say I've been to the snow in Utah.
